Descriptions of localities

38 Danish GeoSites have been identified. The 14 main GeoSites are described in this list, as well as 19 out of the 24 Supplementary GeoSites; Further 12 National Geological Localities are described.

For reasons of administration and correction the list is organized according to 4 geographic regions rather than according to themes. The list does not distinguish in between categories of GeoSites and National Geological Localities. Please choose region from the list at right hand.
